Dr. Subhash Kumar is a renowned diabetes, thyroid, and obesity specialist practicing in Patna, Bihar, India. He is the director of the Diabetes and Obesity Care Centre, located in the centre of the city. He is also a medical consultant for India Oil Corporation, Bihargrid Corporation, CIMP, and Sahyog Multispecialty Hospital Patna.
Dr. Kumar is the online teaching faculty for diabetes courses at the prestigious University of South Wales, UK. Dr. Kumar was awarded the Samaj Ratna Award by the Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Nitish Kumar, in 2013 and by the Health Minister of Bihar, Sri Mangal Pandey, for his service during the COVID-19 pandemic (2020).
Dr. Subhash Kumar has served as Secretary of the prestigious RSSDI (Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India) in Bihar.
